Brenda Johnson Padgitt Makes Appearance At Pat’s Learning Academy

Brenda Johnson Padgitt will make an author appearance on Tuesday March 11, 2014 to read her children’s fiction book “My Baby Sister” at Pat’s Learning Academy located at 3721 W. Camp Wisdom Rd in Dallas, Texas.  My Baby Sister is a children’s fiction book about Danielle who learns that being a big sister can be really cool.  When she was 5 years old her mother announced that a baby sister or brother was on the way.  Danielle’s mother was pregnant with her baby sister. Danielle was excited at first until all the attention went on Kayla.  As Kayla began to crawl and then walk Danielle did not like the hitting, biting, and kicking that Kayla did to her.  Danielle finally learned how to turn the sibling rivalry around.

What are Pronouns?  

Proper Nouns?

      A pronoun takes the place of a noun.  Examples of subject pronouns are: I, you, he, she, it, we, you, & they.  Subject pronouns replace nouns that follow the verb be.   Examples of object pronouns are me, you, her, him, it, us, you, & them.  Object pronouns replace nouns after action verbs or after to, for, with, in or at.

      Proper Nouns name a particular person, place or thing.  Proper nouns are also capitalized.  Examples are: Mrs. Dobbs, Atlantic Ocean, Red Sea, Pecan Street, Africa, St. Luke Apartments.
