How To Hold On To Your Faith When All HELL Breaks LOOSE!
It is no secret that today we are living during a time of unrest, racial injustice, war, viruses, police brutality, social and economic inequalities, a rise in the suicide rate and the list goes on and on. We are challenged daily to pray, believe that things will get better and hold on to our faith. Many rely on God to make sense of the chaos while others are on the verge of giving up hope. Life is a journey with ups and downs, hills and valleys, success and disappointments.
On February 13, 2016 ASWIFTT RADIO host Brenda Diann Johnson talked with Pastor Adrian Simmons about how to hold on to your faith when all hell breaks loose. The discussion encouraged and offered practical suggestions while coming from scripture. There will be times when life gets hard and our circumstances are magnified. The enemy has a way of making things seem more drastic than they really are. The famous acronym FEAR means False Evidence Appearing REAL is the best example that demonstrates how Satan attempts to disturb and frustrate us. The enemy wants us to believe temporary circumstances are permanent. He ultimately wants us to suffer despair and lose all hope.

Seasoned Believers Remind You and Encourage
There will be times of disappointments, but this is not the time to give up and throw in the towel. New Believers sometimes start their new life as a Christian with much eager and joy. They are excited about the new life they have chosen to follow Jesus Christ. The enemy is not a fan of your new life in Christ. He will put stumbling blocks in your way to make you abandon living the victorious Christian life. It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come according to Luke 17:1. There are some new Believers who start off living a victorious Christian Life then they get discouraged at the first sign of trouble. Christ is always concerned about you and wants you to be victorious.
As a New Believer you should have a valid reason why you have decided to follow Jesus Christ. It is defined as your testimony or the reason that brought you to Christ. 1 Peter 3:15 says “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meakness and fear.”

On February 23, 2016 at 2 pm CST ASWIFTT RADIO host Brenda Diann Johnson talked with Pastor Rufus Fields about how to hold on to your faith when all hell breaks loose. This part II discussion encouraged and offered practical suggestions while coming from scripture. There will be times when life gets hard and our circumstances are magnified. The enemy has a way of making things seem more drastic than they really are. The famous acronym FEAR means False Evidence Appearing REAL is the best example that demonstrates how Satan attempts to disturb and frustrate us. The enemy wants us to believe temporary circumstances are permanent. He ultimately wants us to suffer despair and lose all hope.
1 Peter 5:8 tells us to Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. John 10:10 reveals the enemy’s purpose and why Jesus came. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” The daily life we live is not always easy. We will face trials and tribulations. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19)
