In the past he taught Theology at the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center, SAC County Jail Ministry, California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Simmons has also preached at Folsom Prison which is a men’s facility and New Folsom Prison Women’s facility. Pastor Simmons lives in Sacramento, CA with a BA degree from CSU Sacramento in Philosophy. Seasoned Believers Expose Sin And Enlighten About Its Effects
When new converts begin living a victorious Christian life, sometimes they are unaware of the struggles of their sin nature. Some Christians have become sick as a result of sin. According to James 5:14-16 it says “Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save him that is sick, and the Lord shall raise him up: and if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him. Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.”
Seasoned Believers exhort us to repent of sin and get back on track with God. In I John 1:9-10 it says “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
