Seasoned Believers Come And Bear

The third quality of a Seasoned Believer is their compassion to come and bear the burdens of others. Romans 15:1-3 says “Now we that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, unto edifying. For Christ who pleased not himself, but as it is written, the reproaches of them that reproached thee fell upon me.”

     According to dictionary.com, to bear means to hold up or support. Seasoned Believers support you in practical ways during your time of need and are able to give you God’s word for wisdom. They are not fair-weather friends. Fair weather friends are those who come around when the weather is non- threatening or when times are good. They disappear when thunderstorms come in your life. They leave when times are bad and when you need them most. When Seasoned Believers see someone in need or can lighten someone’s load, they do it without grumbling and with a kind heart.
