Seasoned Believers Remind You and Encourage

There will be times of disappointments, but this is not the time to give up and throw in the towel. New Believers sometimes start their new life as a Christian with much eager and joy. They are excited about the new life they have chosen to follow Jesus Christ. The enemy is not a fan of your new life in Christ. He will put stumbling blocks in your way to make you abandon living the victorious Christian life. It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come according to Luke 17:1. There are some new Believers who start off living a victorious Christian Life then they get discouraged at the first sign of trouble. Christ is always concerned about you and wants you to be victorious.

As a New Believer you should have a valid reason why you have decided to follow Jesus Christ. It is defined as your testimony or the reason that brought you to Christ. 1 Peter 3:15 says “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meakness and fear.”

  1. Great read. I think intention within the faith is very important and I believe that’s where it always starts but at times due to societal and cultural conditioning, new believers aren’t taught that always. It’s more of a just do it approach and the sold dream that God will transform their life miraculously almost in an instant. Whilst i am a Christian myself, i think practicality is also vital.
