ASWIFTT RADIO Host Brenda Diann Johnson discusses “Life Lessons Kids Should Learn Quickly.” The discussion highlights practical advice, information and tools that kids, teens and young adults should embrace to help them navigate successfully through life.

Brenda is a mother, grandmother, author, publisher, educator, entrepreneur, radio host, speaker and above all a humble servant of God. She enjoys writing and spending time with her daughters, Diamond and Kamille and her grandson, Bryson. Ms. Johnson’s life mission is to use the creative talents God gave her in writing, teaching and speaking to not only have self-fulfillment but to also have an impact on the audience God has predestined for her.

This broadcast is the prelude to Brenda Diann Johnson’s upcoming book, “Life Lessons Kids Should Learn Quickly.” In her book she points out that a child’s initial training ground to shape behavior starts at home.  She emphasizes that parents are responsible for teaching their children manners, etiquette, social skills, rules and principles to interact with people and navigate through life successfully.

Brenda also recognizes that all kids don’t get the same basic teachings because of various circumstances that exist in the home. However, no matter what misfortune kids face, Brenda still teaches that respect of others, appropriate behavior in formal and informal settings and basic rules and principles are essential.

Did You Know That God Gives Us Direction When We Pray?

God will give us answers to questions if we ask.

The Holy Spirit guides and leads us if we are walking after the spirit and not the flesh. God’s direction is in the Holy Bible. He gives direction to us through other people and through circumstances whether good or bad.

It is important to pray without ceasing. (1Thessalonians 5:17) We should pray to God when we are unsure about which direction to go or what step to take. We should also pray according to His word and expect an answer. We have this promise according to 1 John 5:14-16, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ASK ANYTHING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL, He heareth us: And if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.”

Therefore, we must question ourselves whether we really want God’s will manifested in our lives. We cannot pray for anything that we know is contrary to HIS WILL because He will have a deaf ear to it. There are times when we may not know if we are praying contrary to the will of God for our lives. God has also made a provision for us even in our ignorance. According to Romans 8:26-27, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD.”
